What is a Dominatrix?

Sometimes referred to as a Mistress, is a Woman who takes the dominant role. She can be professional (it is Her job) and/or lifestyle (Her role with Her private partners). Her domination may not necessarily involve physical BDSM (bondage, discipline, dominance, submission, sadism, masochism) activities, but will involve psychological domination.

Is this profession legal?

Yes, working as a Dominatrix is legal.

Is there an age limit?

You must be 18 years or over to train at the London Dominatrix School, but there is no upper age limit. A cursory glance through any Mistress directory will show you that there is a great variety of ages, looks and services amongst Dominatrices. Because clients have different tastes, one does not have to be a specific age, size, weight, nor have a specific look to be successful.

How long does it take to be qualified to become a professional Dominatrix?

You can do your training as intensively as you wish, doing a couple of lessons each day for a week, or spreading them out over several weeks so that you can practice at home. How quickly you become qualified is down to you.

How many lessons do I need?

Our basic course consists of ten one-hour lessons. You will then be ready to start conducting sessions with clients. The advanced course is seven one-hour lessons and provides training in more advanced and niche skills. You can complete the entire advanced course or pick and choose which lessons you feel are most useful for you.

What is the total cost?

Each lesson, as well as the initial consultation, costs £200 and lasts for 1 hour. The basic course therefore, which includes a total of 10 lessons plus the initial consultation, is £2,200 in total. This is a small investment considering your earning potential once qualified.

How much does a Dominatrix earn?

In London, Dominatrices charge £200/hour on average. This amount varies throughout the country, and indeed internationally, but is well above the average income.

Does it matter where I’m located?

Not at all. Returning to the Mistress directories, you can see that Dominatrices are located throughout the country and world. You can conduct sessions from wherever you are located. You can also do domination tours, offer email and Skype domination, as well as sell clips. The opportunities are endless.

Will I have to do things I don’t want to do?

Absolutely not. As a Dominatrix, you work independently and decide exactly which services you wish to offer. Being explicit about the services you enjoy means that you will attract clients that enjoy these too.

Does a Dominatrix have sex with Her clients?

No. A Dominatrix does not offer Her clients sex. If you wish to offer oral and/or penetrative sex to your clients, that is entirely your decision, but it is not expected and is by no means a service that you must offer.

Is this a full time job or could I do it part time?

As you are working independently, you have the freedom to decide whether to work as a Dominatrix full time or part time. It can be your sole income or it can supplement your full time income. How you run your business is entirely your decision.

When I have completed the course what do I do next?
